The diminishment and weakness of humanity is the field upon which the grace and glory of God shine the brightest. In such a case, it is clearly the power of God and not the power of the man. The man is the conduit of the power, yes, but obviously not the source of it.
God teaches us this lesson over and over again.
I thank God for you. I thank God for my wife Maria. I thank God for my sister Kelly. I thank Him for my three sons. I thank Him for what He gives me and what He doesn't give me.
There is certainly a God—and I'm not Him.
