I was out running yesterday, simply trying to avoid tripping over sidewalk seams and wondering when my next Milky Way break would be. This is when God gave me the full truth of Revelation 9:20--

"And the rest of mankind, who were not killed in these calamities, repent not of the acts of their hands- that they will not be worshiping the demons and idols of gold and silver and copper and stone and wood, which are neither able to be observing nor to be hearing nor to be walking."

It was "the idols of gold and silver and copper and stone and wood" that eluded me. I had related these idols, on this broadcast the day before, to Catholic rosaries. But then I got the full download: it's not JUST the rosaries, but rather something bigger than the Catholic cult, something so common and so normalized---so accepted as the fabric of the culture---that it is easily overlooked. But now I see it as one the most obvious truths there is.
